Cookies and browser storage

IntroStory does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps a few small items in your browser's storage. This page lists all of them.

Necessary (always on)

• Sign-in session: keeps you signed in. Stored when you sign in, removed when you sign out.
• Your likes: which cards you liked, and a random id used to save or undo them. Stored only when you like a card.
• Your privacy choice: what you chose here, so we do not ask again.

Analytics (only if you accept)

• Visitor id: a random id that lets a story's owner tell a returning visitor from a new one. It contains nothing about you. If you reject analytics it is never stored, and any stored id is deleted.

Visits are counted either way, without storing anything, using an id that exists only while the page is open.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and photos and videos from our storage provider. They receive standard technical data such as your IP address, but we do not use them to track you.
