Terms of Service

These are the rules for using IntroStory, which is run by Andrew Vu, an individual in the United States. By making an account or a story you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
Your story is yours
You own what you put in your story. You give IntroStory permission to store it and show it to the people you share it with, which is what the service is for. That permission ends when you delete the content. You must have the right to share everything you add, including photos of other people.
What is not allowed
- Pretending to be someone else.
- Harassing, threatening, or exposing private information about another person.
- Sexual content, and anything that sexualises or endangers a minor.
- Content that is illegal, or that promotes violence or hatred against people.
- Spam, scams, or links meant to trick or harm visitors.
- Trying to break, overload, or get around the limits of the service.
Reports and removal
Anyone can report a story. We may unpublish or remove content, or close an account, that breaks these rules or the law. If you think we made a mistake, write to andrewvu0203@gmail.com.
Link names
Link names are first come, first served. We may reclaim a name that impersonates someone, breaks these rules, or has been left unused for a long time.
Price
Making and sharing a story is free. A paid plan with more features is planned. It will be optional, and its price and terms will be shown before you pay anything.
The service comes as it is
We work to keep IntroStory running and your content safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or end features. Keep your own copy of anything important. To the extent the law allows, IntroStory is not liable for indirect losses that come from using the service.
Privacy
How we handle information is explained on the Privacy and Cookies pages.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
